Iron Grip: Warlord combines real-time strategy and first-person shooter elements to add a new twist to playing war. It puts the player(s) in the heat of a battle, fighting off hordes of AI-controlled invaders. It can be a single-player skirmish or a multiplayer massacre.

Players start by with a few weapons and are instantly required to hold off waves of enemy infantry, tanks, and other powerful creations to protect their stronghold. Strongholds are the heart of the resistance and must be held at all costs, or else the player loses the round.

To put it bluntly this is really just a muck around game. Great for lan parties but online is not really apparent as this game seems to not of taken off as well as the producers expected. This game is fun as hell but gets repetitive after time. I recommend you buy it from the publishers website which includes the expansion at time of writing. The problem with the game is the lack of players. I was able to play with about 6 people at one time and that's it. The game is FUN as hell...

Thoroughly enjoy this as a co-operative multi-player game. Not much fun as a single-player game. And even the multi-player becomes repetitive quickly. Several weapons and items for purchasing within the game, but it becomes apparent early on what tools get the job done and which are just for fun...
