The Matrix Online is a massively-multiplayer online game that features a rich storyline that players can choose to become intimately involved with, and an immersive world in which they can create their own adventures.  Special events will give players the opportunity to participate in an epic storyline featuring characters from The Matrix films. Here players will be able to become part of the official Matrix Universe, creating the continuing story of the Matrix, Zion, the Machines, and you!

Players of The Matrix Online (Mx0) will inhabit an thriving urban cityscape, which spreads for miles in all directions. It is in this city where a secret war is being waged for the survival of humanity and machine alike. Here you, and many operatives like yourself, will determine who shall inherit the earth.

• Find, create, or trade Matrix "ability code" that provides incredible knowledge and skill to your character. Unlike other massively multiplayer games, ability code can be swapped out and exchanged like trading cards, providing unprecedented flexibility in the development of a character.
• Players can tap into sources of "information" in the game to create or steal code fragments. Code can be used to create both special Matrix items and special abilities.

First, you need to create a Station account at www.station.com.  You can then activate your account for The Matrix Online by entering your billing information.  You must have a valid credit card or SOE game card (where available) in order to activate your account.  Finally, log in and start playing! 
 
Subscription Info:

You will not be charged for your first 30 days of play, but you must register with a valid credit card number or SOE game card (where available) before you begin to play.  After your first 30 days of complimentary access, your card will automatically be charged a monthly fee of $14.99 or this amount will be billed against the SOE game time card for access to The Matrix Online.  This automatic charge will recur every month until you cancel your account.
